Dear colleagues,
The fourth international scientific conference Chromosome 2018 will be held from August 20 to 24, 2018, at the Institute of Molecular and Cellular Biology SB RAS. The Conference will cover following important topics:
- Chromosome organization and functions in mitosis and meiosis
- Genetic organization of interphase chromosomes
- Epigenetics
- Genomes evolution
- Chromosomal breaks and abnormalities
- Mitochondrail DNA
- Chromosomes in medicine
- Molecular basis of biological processes in chromosomes
We expect that the Conference will achieve the highest scientific level as well as encourage creative connections between Russian and foreign scholars. The Conference will become a source of professional growth for young researches, and will also help in scientific traditions development. The reports will be presented by both young researchers and world recognized leaders in the field of structural and functional chromosome organization.
The conference program includes oral talks and poster presentations, 15-25 minutes are provided for speakers. Preferred language for the Conference is English. A simultaneous translation will be provided in case your report is in Russian and we highly recommend having all inscriptions of your presentation slides to be in English. The number of oral presentations is limited; therefore the Program Committee will choose candidates for oral talks among all applicants after the registration is finished on May 31st. The decision will published on the Institute's site by June 15th.

Registration fee is 8000 rubles, 6000 rubles for students and graduate students. The fee includes payment for coffee breaks, meals, banquet and scheduled excursions to the museums of Akademgorodok. The fee does not include payment for accommodation and tour to the Altai. Those who do not have the opportunity to come to Novosibirsk can take part in absentia. In this case the fee for participation is 1500 rubles. Abstracts will be published in abstracts collection of the Russian Index of Scientific Citations (RISC) by the beginning of the Conference. Chosen reports will be published in "Vavilov journal of genetics and breeding". Information on the payment terms of fee registration will be provided later.
